Portland events in March, 2015 include lots of things to do for special interest groups. You can tell people are dreaming of the coming warmer weather months and being outdoors. Plus there are some special activities for celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

The Shamrock Run is the largest running event in Portland. There are a total of six races which include a half-marathon, leprechaun run/walk for children, and a 5km stride for walkers.

The Shamrock Fitness Fair precedes the Shamrock Run. This is where runners can pick up their event bibs and the public, especially families, can see new products, and participate in games and contests.

You have a big choice of pub crawls to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in downtown Portland. Crawls begin on Friday and you can get passes for three days of fun that include the whole weekend. The AutoMotovated Cyclist
Portland's annual hot rod show has the reputation for being one of the best in the country. You will see top cars, trucks, and motorcycles plus some really fancy pinstripers at work. Models will also be on display.
