Don't forget the Oregon Coast wineries when you are touring Oregon's vineyards and wineries. I mean it's a great excuse to see the beautiful scenery on Oregon's Pacific Coast.
There are no vineyards on the coast - grapes would not ripen to maturity in this climate. So the wineries buy grapes from growers in other areas of Oregon.
Forget the sterotype wine tasting room of most wineries. These people at Twist Wine Company are a little whackey but they love their wine and they want you to enjoy it also. The atmosphere is decidedly informal and relaxed. Wine tastings are free and wine by the glass won't break the bank. If someone in your party is just not that into wine, they have Russian River Beer on tap. They don't serve any food so eat before you go or take your own food - yes, it is ok. Oh, and kids are welcome with an adult. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Here you can enjoy tasting a wide selection of whites, reds, and fruit wines. The winery occupies an old building that used to be a creamery which accounts for the stone floors. When the weather is suitable you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the coast range. It is open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Flying Dutchman wines are made from grapes grown in vineyards in southern Oregon and the Willamette Valley. Wines include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay,
and White Riesling. The tasting room is just south of the Inn at Otter Crest across the road from Devil's Punchbowl State Park between Newport and Depoe Bay. There is a picnic area which is sheltered from the winds and has a view of the beaches and Cape Foulweather.

This is a tasting room owned by the Nehalem Bay Winery. It is right smack in the middle of Depoe Bay and has a view of the ocean. You can even whale watch from here. You will find a variety of both red and white wines as well as some rather unusual fruit wines such as Pear Wine made from Bartlett Pears. They even have Meade which is made from honey. Depoe Bay is south of Lincoln City.
