Private Oregon Coast RV parks usually offer more than state parks and Forest Service campgrounds. Most of them have a facility with kitchen for large group gatherings. Some have bike, boat, and/or kayak rentals. Some have horseback riding trips and one even has a pet sitting service which can come in really handy if you need to leave your cat or dog for more than a couple of hours.
The parks below are all in popular areas of the Oregon coast where you will find plenty of things to see and do.
This park is located near Astoria which makes it easy to visit both the Columbia River and Oregon beaches.RV sites are good size and can accommodate RV's up to 90 feet long. The park has showers, laundry facilities, wi-fi, and cable tv. There is a group meeting room available. The golf course is nine holes with a par of 36.

This KOA park is located across from Ft. Stevens State Park where you will find historic Fort Stevens, beach access, Clatsop Spit where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. The RV spaces can accommodate RV's up to 90 feet long with 30 amp or 50 amp hookups. There are both back-in and pull-through spaces.
Park amenities include year-round swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, bounce pillow, mini golf, and a free pancake breakfast. Amenities with an extra charge include bike rentals, snack bar, fire wood, and cable TV.

Full-service hookups are available in this wooded park for rv's up to 40 feet long. The park is located two and a half blocks from the ocean and has Ecola Creek running through it. There is a general store selling espresso, tea, locally produced food, and rv supplies. Other amenities are laundry, horse stables, and meeting hall.
Horse back rides are available during the summer months to Haystack Rock and Cove Beach. There are also night rides.
Dogs on leash are welcome.
Sea Ranch RV Park - 415 Fir Street

The Lincoln City Premier RV Resort is located on the south end of Lincoln City. The park has full-service hook-ups with choice of ocean view or wooded areas. Some sites are pull through. The park is on the east side of Highway 101 but there is an underground walk-through to the beach side of the highway.
Amenities include free wi-fi, free newspaper, fenced area where your dog can romp, clubhouse, spa, exercise room, theater, laundry, handicapped accessible bathrooms, picnic tables, and dvd lending library.
Mo's Restaurant is just seven blocks away and Inn at Spanish Head is almost directly across the highway.
This park has a Good Sam rating of 9.

The park is on the north end of Lincoln City just a short walk away from Devil's Lake. There are 80 spacious paved back-in and pull-through full hookup RV sites. Amenities include bathroom with showers, free wi-fi, laundry room, pet walking area, cable TV, and a recreation room with fully equipped kitchen that accommodates up to 50 seated dinner guests. This is a popular park for large group gatherings such as family reunions and clubs.

You could spend your whole vacation at Loon Lake and be happy. The lake is popular for water skiing, fishing, and swimming and the RV sites are just steps away. You can rent jet skis, fishing boats, water skiing boats, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats.
RV sites can accommodate all sizes and both back-in and drive-through full-hook-up sites are available. Loon Lake has restrooms with showers and also laundry facilities. Pets are welcome with a limit of two per site. There is a store with a deli and basic groceries.

Harbor Village has 140 spaces in the forest. It is located across the street from the The Embarcadero Resort, Restaurant and Marina on the bay. They offer full hookups which includes cable TV. Laundry and shower facilities are available. Pets are welcome but must sleep inside your RV at night. You can rent a space for a day, a week, a month, or for the whole summer.

The Port of Newport has two RV parks with a total of 143 spaces. Full hookups including TV are available as well as Wi-Fi and Broadband. Shower and laundry facilities are on site. You can rent a small boat and crab rings to catch your own crab in the bay. Fish cleaning stations and a crab cooker are on site.

As the name implies, this park is right next to the beach and some RV sites are ocean front. All sites are full-hook-up and are either drive forward or back in. Each site has a picnic table and free WiFi. The club house has a fully equipped kitchen, a game room, exercise room, big screen TV, showers, and laundry facilities. There is an area for pets and a play area for children. There is easy access to Sea Rose Beach.

The park is located on Hunter Creek on the south end of Gold Beach. There is easy access to the beach. Some sites are on the banks of Hunter Creek. The club house has a group meeting room and kitchen. There is a small store and laundry facility. This is a pet-friendly park and pet-sitting is available. Kayaks are available for rent.
