Arch Cape House
Arch Cape House is located in Arch Cape south of Cannon Beach. It has eight spacious rooms. Three rooms have outstanding ocean views. One has a good view, and the rest have just a peek or none. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and some have a tub in the room itself. Rooms have gas fireplaces, small refrigerator, Cable TV, and a
VCR. All beds have down comforters. There is a private sauna for guests. Fresh baked cookies are served every evening. A wine social hour is held every afternoon from 5 pm to 6 pm. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am and it is a three course affair. The menu would be something like:

This is a popular place for weddings. The rooms are tastefully decorated with the elegance of a chateau. The ceremony can take place in the living room, the English style garden or you could have your wedding on the beach.
Now we move south to
Newport
for the Tyee Lodge Bed and Breakfast. They just don't come any better than this. Situated overlooking the beach, all five spacious rooms have a sea view. Picture fireplaces, four-poster beds, sitting rooms, huge windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean, spa tubs. One room even
has a kitchenette. They will even make you up a picnic basket to take to the beach which is just down a trail that goes through the garden. Breakfast is served in a dining room which also has ocean view.
You might want to choose this one in Yachats just for the breakfast alone. Then add on the spacious rooms with private entrance, jacuzzi tub, private deck, and the star of the show, the Pacific Ocean right in front of you and you have a big winner.
The web site has lots of nice big pictures so you can see for yourself. The pictures do take a little while to load but they are worth the wait. (It's not real long.)
Also in Yachats this bed and breakfast is more like having your own private house on the beach. With its own private entrance and both a bedroom, a living room with woodburning fireplace, and private deck you will feel right at home. It has a king size featherbed with a goosedown comforter and you have your own bathroom. In the morning a five-course breakfast is served.
