Mt. Hood Meadows

by Richard
(Portland, Oregon)

My name is Richard and I live in Portland, Oregon. I have been to many places here in Oregon and I believe it to be a beautiful, scenic, and fun state to live in. There are many attractions and activities to choose from when living in Oregon or visiting it.

For me personally, my favorite getaway here in Oregon is the beautiful Mt. Hood, specific Mt. Hood Meadows Ski and Snowboard Lodge. The trip to Mt. Hood Meadows is beautiful and the views are incredible. The roads are usually always clear and the drive is easy. I enjoy snowboarding so this place is perfect for me, my friends, and my family. The snow is great here in Oregon and if for some reason it is too icy or shallow, they have ice machines ready to do the job.

There is a lodge at the resort where you can rent skis, snowboards, boots, gear and anything else you might need in order to have fun. They also have great food at reasonable prices and other amenities such as hot chocolate. This is great after a cold ride outside on the slopes.

If you enjoy snowboarding or skiing, or just want to learn, grab your family and friends and head on up to Mt. Hood Meadows.
