I stayed in two of the cottages years ago--30 years ago. They were nothing fancy then but they were extremely clean and the ocean view was spectacular. This hasn't changed. What has changed is that they have been updated since then. The furnishings are still basic. The decor is still plain.
The facts are that the cottages, (no two are alike) have the best ocean view of any Lincoln City lodging, fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces with free wood, good beach access and this makes them one of the best places to stay in Lincoln City. You have the choice of a studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom cottage. Pets are welcome in designated cottages. The motel rooms are newer and also have an ocean view. They have gas fireplaces and sleep up to four people. Some rooms have fully equipped kitchens. Pets are not allowed in the motel rooms. Inn at Spanish Head
You have the choice of a studio, one-bedroom, or a bedroom unit. The bedroom unit sleeps up to two and is equipped with a microwave, wet bar, and a small refrigerator. The studio units also sleep up to two people and have a fully equipped kitchen. One-bedroom units sleep four and have a separate sleeping area. The pent-house restaurant and bar on the 10th floor gives you an unbeatable panoramic view of the ocean. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and there is a Sunday Champagn Brunch served 9:00 am to 1:30 am. The Inn at Spanish Head is one of the best choices of Lincoln City lodging for those who have a disabled member in their party. The elevator takes you right down to the beach level.
