Welcome aboard the inaugural DME Big Easy Express! Join Amanda Gresham's Delta Music Experience and RailsNW as we transport you from the Oregon Coast to the Gulf Coast and immerse you in a music-filled Mardi Gras style celebration on the rails. Your day with us will include a scenic afternoon train ride from Garibaldi to Wheeler behind a 1910 steam engine and a Louisiana Po'Boy sandwich box lunch served onboard the train- and of course, the 'Big Easy Beat' will serenade and entertain you throughout the day, featuring a magical mix of live N'awlins music.

Originating in Garibaldi, Oregon, the DME Big Easy Express makes a leisurely trip up the Oregon Coast affording fantastic panoramic views of both Tillamook and Nehalem Bays. Musicians will play onboard as we serve a boxed lunch to your seat in festive vintage dining cars. Our train stops briefly at Wheeler-on-the-Bay, where you can enjoy the stunning view from the relaxing trackside park, shop this quaint coastal town, or make a quick hop next door to the bar for a specialty drink. We then return down the coast to Garibaldi, where the music continues in the railroad themed waterside park.

An open-air car will be part of our consist to enjoy the fresh air and unparalleled views. As this trip is limited to less than 100 passengers, we highly recommend making your reservations ASAP. Feel free to call us at 503-292-5055 if you have any questions. Click here: Big Easy Express for information and online reservations. You must reserve by July 19th to receive the discounted early booking $98 ticket price. After that date, the full ticket price will be $118.
