This is a very nice campground but you may want to pass it up until the 2008 season. The Oregon State Highway Division is building a new bridge here. Hiking trails may be closed at times and there will be construction noise. The beach is great though so maybe it is worth it anyway. The camp sites are all in a forested area situated along side a creek. There are full hookups for RV's, electrical hookups for tents, and yurts (some with cable TV). Picnic tables and fire rings.
Two miles south of Newport , this park is close to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. A new thing is kayak tours at the nearby Ona Beach. The guided tours are two hours long. In the park there are electical hookups, and yurts available. WiFi is also available. Pinic tables and fire rings.
Located south of Waldport Beachside Park is situated along a wide, nine-mile long, sandy beach. There are sites with full hookups for RV's, tent sites with electic hookups, and two yurts. As in all the state parks there are flush toilets and showers available. Picnic tables and fire rings.
