Cabins on the South Oregon Coast

This is a selections of cabins on the south Oregon Coast. All of them are large and they are all right on the beach. The south Oregon beaches are less crowded than those on the central and north coast. Also, the weather will be a bit warmer here.

The Beach House

The perfect place for a large family, The Beach House is located on the beach in Brookings, Oregon. The house sleeps up to eight people. There are two decks, an upper and a lower and both are good for viewing the ocean. There is easy access to the beach.

The house is fully furnished and the kitchen well equipped with range, dishwasher, refrigerator, cooking utensils and dishes. There are two bathrooms. A gas barbeque is on the lower deck. The house has two TV's, a VCR, and a DVD player.

Besides the regular beach activities, the Redwood Forest is half an hour away. There is also a casino near by.

There is a minimum two-night stay.

Anchor House of Bandon

This beautiful home is also perfect for a large family. It sits on a bluff above the ocean and beach access is nearby. The main living rooms, kitchen, large living room, and master bedroom are on the top level with spectacular views of the ocean. There is an upper deck and patios on the lower level. Downstairs are two more bedrooms. The house sleeps up to eight people.

The house is beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, crockpot, toaster, waffle iron, mixer, and blender. The house also has a washer/dryer, two TV's, VCR, and DVD player.

There is a minimum two-night stay and a minimum four-night stay during holidays.

To get there from US 101 in Bandon, turn West on Sea Bird Drive Left (South) on Beach Loop Right (West) on Vesta Lane

This has to be the most spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean on the Oregon Coast. Of all the cabins on the south Oregon coast, this one would be my choice for a large gathering.

The house which sits right on the ocean front has three bedroom with five queen beds. It can

sleep up to 10 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a barbeque on the deck, washer and dryer, three full bathrooms, cable TV, VCR, and DVD player. The view from the living room is panoramic.

The beach is wide and sandy and rocks and tidepools are a short walk away. This is an uncrowded beach and you may find at times you are the only person on it.

The house is located at 390 Madison Avenue in Bandon. Turn west off of Highway 101 onto 1st Street. Drive west. First Street becomes Jetty Road and turns north for a short distance. Turn west on 4th Street and drive to Madison Avenue.

There is a minimum two-night stay and a minimum four-night stay during holidays.
